Integrating AI, satellite intelligence, and autonomous drones to transform precision agriculture.

Drone Over Field

About LIVIA

LIVIA is an emerging agricultural intelligence startup focused on improving how crops are monitored and understood through the fusion of artificial intelligence, satellite data, and autonomous drone systems. By combining large-scale Earth observation with high-resolution aerial sensing, LIVIA aims to provide farmers and agricultural stakeholders with clear, actionable insights on crop health, stress detection, and field conditions.

The project brings together expertise from the fields of space technology, data science, and agricultural innovation. LIVIA is currently being developed with a focus on Mediterranean agriculture, working closely with local stakeholders to better understand real operational needs and validate the system through early pilot deployments.

LIVIA is part of the Bank of Cyprus IDEA Innovation Center accelerator, where the project is receiving mentorship, resources, and funding to further develop the technology and prepare it for real-world deployment.

Platform Architecture

Satellite Earth Observation

Drone-Based Sensing

AI Data Processing

LIVIA integrates multiple data sources to generate accurate and actionable agricultural insights. Satellite imagery provides continuous large-scale monitoring of agricultural regions through vegetation indices and environmental indicators.

Autonomous drone systems complement this by capturing high-resolution aerial imagery and localized data directly from the field.

All collected data is processed through AI-driven models that analyze vegetation patterns, detect anomalies, and identify potential stress signals across crops.

Operational Capabilities

Crop Health Monitoring

Stress & Disease Detection

Field-Level Analytics

The platform enables continuous monitoring of crop conditions and environmental changes across agricultural fields. By combining satellite time-series data with drone imagery, LIVIA can detect early indicators of plant stress, disease, or irregular growth patterns.

These insights can allow farmers and agricultural operators to respond earlier and allocate resources such as irrigation, treatments, and inspections more efficiently.

Deployment Model

Fully Autonomous Systems "Drone-in-a-Box"

Satellite Data Integration

AI Decision Support

LIVIA is designed as an integrated monitoring system where autonomous drone stations operate alongside satellite observation pipelines. Satellite data enables large-scale monitoring while drone systems provide targeted high-resolution inspections when needed.

Together, these systems create a continuous feedback loop that improves monitoring accuracy and supports data-driven agricultural decision making.
