Astronomy Nights

Service Description

Astronomy nights are the pride and joy of our project, as they offer a unique opportunity to explore the wonders of the sky through our telescopes. Starting with uranography - the mapping of the night sky - we familiarize ourselves with the cosmic canvas, learning to recognize the stars, constellations, and objects that guide our exploration. From there we move on to observing whatever the night sky has to offer that night - the Moon, planets, distant stars, galaxies, nebulae and more - snapping a picture or two of these celestial bodies along the way. These evenings include short educational talks and presentations on various topics related to astronomy such as constellations, the solar system, space exploration, and recent discoveries. Of course, there will also be plenty of stargazing with the naked eye, taking in the breathtaking skies of Cyprus and simply appreciating the beauty of the universe above us.
